hello! my name is matt, and i’m currently a fourth-year computer science major here at uvic.
i was born all the way on the other coast in nova scotia, but moved to vancouver island when i was (i think) 9 years old. from there i jumped around the island a bit going from sidney, saanich, langford, courtenay, and when i decided i wanted to do post-secondary, back to victoria.
in my spare time i like playing sports, walking my dog, watching movies, playing and making video games, and running! during the summer i like to insure my motorcycle (beyonce) and enjoy driving through town on warm summer nights.
for me, taking this class wasn’t really anything planned. i needed credits to graduate this summer, and i really, really, reallllly, didn’t want to go to campus. bingo! an online class! although it’s mere chance i’m here, i’m excited to learn and be a part of this class. it’ll be interesting to explore new topics of study and expand my learning before i tirelessly search for a job come fall.
